The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) was established to provide HIV/AIDS drugs to people who otherwise could not afford them. Each state has different maximum income rules and, although all pay for drugs used to treat HIV/AIDS, many also pay for drugs to treat depression, high cholesterol and other problems. SCI Health
The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Secondary Conditions in the Rehabilitation of Individual with Spinal Cord Injury website is an educational and training resource on prevention of secondary conditions such as cardiovascular disease, obesity, and pressure ulcers after a spinal cord injury (SCI). It is operated by MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), a facility in Washington DC that treats people with physical disabilities, including people with spinal cord injury (SCI).
